In an effort to increase equity of access within our community, and with the support of the Bisbee City Council, the Copper Queen... More… In an effort to increase equity of access within our community, and with the support of the Bisbee City Council, the Copper Queen Library has eliminated overdue fines on CQL materials for six months and has cleared the accounts of all CQL patrons who owe money for overdue materials. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. After the six months, library staff will report to the Bisbee City Council to show how removing fines has both increased library usage and encouraged patrons who stopped using the library due to overdue fines to return and start using our services again. If we can show community support for this endeavor, we may be able to eliminate fines completely and forever. Less…
