The self-guided tour will highlight both new and older gardens in a variety of styles that demonstrate the unique microclimates that exist in the mile-high city. Gardens will be staffed with docents who will be ready to answer questions about the garden and all of the natural wonders that have rooted in its soils. Visitors will be treated to a special mix of desert and native species of plants, as well as some more exotic specimens that make gardening in Bisbee different from any other place in Arizona.
This year’s tour will feature local musicians in many of the gardens, as well as artists whose paintings will be featured at the Pop-Up Art Show that will be held in Grassy Park from 3:30 – 5:00 PM. Art sales will benefit both the artists and the Bisbee Bloomers.
