Join Yotaki for an hour of Middle Eastern belly dance instruction. Belly dance is a non-impact, weight bearing exercise for the prevention of osteoporosis in older people. Many of the moves involve isolations, which improves flexibility of the torso. Belly dance moves are beneficial to the spine, as the full-body undulation moves lengthen and strengthen the column of spinal and abdominal muscles in a gentle way. Yotaki has a Masters in Ethnic Dance and has studied and performed internationally, including three years in Morocco.
No belly dance experience necessary! All ages welcome!

Join Jonathan Eaton for an hour of beginning ballet barre every Monday. Ballet is a classic form of dance that works to both strengthen and loosen all the muscles in our bodies. Additionally there will be a focus on barre exercises, ballet technique, body alignment, rhythm and performance.
Jonathan Eaton has studied many styles of dance including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, partnering and hip hop for 8 years. He majored in dance at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Class is free with registration. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
