Copper Queen Seed Library
The Copper Queen Seed Library allows patrons to “check out” vegetable, flower and herb seeds to plant in their home gardens. The goal of the seed library is to form and encourage a learning community centered around the saving and sharing of seeds in our unique desert climate. Patrons are encouraged to harvest and return seeds from their healthiest plants to ensure the sustainability of the project. Copper Queen Tool Library - CQ Library Annex
Our Tool Library offers free checkout of home and garden tools and more with your Copper Queen Library Card. This program eliminates cost-related barriers to home improvements and encourages community sharing. The Copper Queen Tool Library is sponsored by the City of Bisbee, the Friends of the Copper Queen Library, and by the Bisbee Bloomers, who donated funds for the gardening tools.
Our play sets bring make-believe worlds to life, while inspiring role play outfits give dress-up playtime a creative boost! We love how kids discover their passions through play, whether they're putting out pretend fires or listening to their doll's heartbeat. "Playing house" and imitating grown-up chores and errands help kids build confidence and independence. Choose from Fisher, Camper, Doctor, Builder, Scientist, Gardener and Firefighter
The Copper Queen Library's Mobile Internet Hotspot Program provides patrons in our community with high-speed internet access at home or on the road. A Hotspot Lending Policy must be reviewed and signed by the patron before a hotspot can be checked out. Checkouts are for three (3) weeks.
Sky Island FotoFauna Wildlife Camera Kit
Join a growing network of wildlife cameras and help observe presence, absence, and seasonal movements of species in the Sky Islands of the U.S. and Mexico by checking out one of our Wildlife Camera Kits. It’s easy to get started—and you can do it all from the comfort of your home. Just set up a wildlife camera and submit an online monthly FotoFauna checklist of the species you observe. This data will help Sky Island Alliance and its partners study when and where wildlife is present so we can better protect their habitats and pathways.
